Abstract: This research explores strategies for supporting emotional resilience among young children in early childhood education (ECE) settings in Nigeria. Objectives include assessing current practices in promoting emotional well-being, examining educator perspectives on resilience-building strategies, and evaluating outcomes on children's coping skills and adaptive behaviors. Utilizing a survey research design, data will be collected from ECE educators, psychologists, and parents in Abia State. The sample size of 320, derived using Taro Yamane's formula, ensures comprehensive representation and statistical reliability. A case study of ECE centers with effective emotional resilience programs will provide detailed insights into successful approaches. The reliability coefficient score of 0.84 ensure data validity. Findings demonstrated effective strategies for promoting emotional resilience in ECE, offering implications for curriculum design and teacher training. Recommendations emphasized integrating social-emotional learning, fostering supportive environments, and enhancing family-school partnerships to support emotional well-being in Nigerian early childhood education.
